We arrived in Zanzibar on a private boat from the coast of Tanzania. Overall, the boat ride took about an hour and a half. We showed up on the beaches of Zanzibar to see some of the whitest sands and bluest water we have ever seen! Zanzibar is absolutely beautiful. We stayed at the Zanzibar Retreat Hotel and Jan— the owner was an amazing host! The hotel was small enough to feel private and relaxing and the hotel also was situated directly on the beach. Jan was even able to schedule all of our snorkeling and tours for us directly.
We had an amazing time snorkeling around Zanzibar with Scuba Fish, we will be sure to post a video and some pictures. They took us to quite a few different locations where we saw an octopus, lion fish, and countless other beautiful fish! They picked us up directly from the hotel, offered snacks and Zanzibar tea, provided all the equipment and an amazing guide. You could tell everyone was very passionate about what they did and we had a blast.
